About our Client

Our client is one of the leading Department Stores in Hong Kong and they are now looking for a Category Manager (Food OR Soft Line) for their expanding business in Hong Kong.

About the Role

  • Manage the assigned product categories to drive sales and meet margin target
  • Formulate order forecast and maintain inventory control
  • Work closely with Sourcing Manager in the selection of products
  • Conduct market research to keep up-to-date on the market trend in terms of different product categories
  • Coordinate with different external and internal parties to deliver the best promotion campaign

Requirement

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or any other relevant disciplines
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in buying or category management in Retail / FMCG field
  • Strong numerical sense with an analytical mindset
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Good command in spoken English and Chinese. Fluent in Japanese is a MUST
