About our client
Our client is an international hotel chain with a strong presence globally. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Director of Rooms for one of their hotel properties in South Korea. The ideal candidate should have 2 years of experience in a similar capacity with luxury casino hotels or resorts, and fluent in Chinese/Korean and English.
Job Description
This position will be reporting to the Hotel General Manager.
As the Director of Rooms, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing the entire rooms division, including the hotel and casino operations, concierge, guest experience, housekeeping, spa and recreation, and business center. You will lead a team of over 100 staff and ensure that all aspects of the hotel's guest accommodations follow the brand's standards.
Working closely with the management team, you will develop and implement departmental strategies that align with the brand service strategy and brand initiatives. You will also be responsible for managing profitability and revenue goals, developing policies and procedures, and supervising staff to ensure exceptional service is provided.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in hospitality management or a related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar capacity, preferably with luxury casino properties
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Fluent in Chinese / Korean and English
