About our client

Our client is one of the luxury membership clubs in Hong Kong, providing numerous catering and sports events, recreation facilities, and entertainment resources to their members. They are looking for an Assistant Event Sales Manager to join the team.

About the role

  • Handle calls and enquiries to achieve targets and maximize revenue, follow-up on event quotations, proposals, table booking agreements, etc.
  • Proactively follow up with members for all the logistic details, and responsible for prepare floor plans for venue set up, menu bible preparation
  • Seek opportunities to increase sales and conversions within the Team (Event Planning, Catering, FO, Chef, etc.)
  • Initiate requisitions while adhering to the budgeted expenses for equipment, furniture, and fixtures
  • Maintain and develop strong member relationships to achieve and exceed guest satisfaction, build strong relationships with customers
  • Provide excellent service and post-event follow-up, record and deal with guest's requests and complaints
  • Ad hoc assignments as required

The Successful Applicant

  • Degree or higher diploma in Hospitality Management or related discipline
  • A minimum of 2 years of related experience in event/ catering sales
  • Candidates with event experience from hotel or clubhouse will be an advantage
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Fluent in Cantonese and English, proficiency in Mandarin will be a plus
