  • About our Client

    Our client is an established hospitality group with strong presence in Hong Kong and Greater China. To cope with their aggressive business growth in the PRC, they are hiring an experienced General Manager to oversee their restaurant business in Shanghai.

    About the Role

    Based in Shanghai and directly reporting to the Business Owner, this position will be responsible for driving their multi-branded restaurant chains and food production business in Shanghai. You will lead a team of 300 staff and to ensure restaurant operations are aligned with corporate's operating guidelines and standards. Additionally, you will ensure the highest food quality and service standards are delivered by providing regular staff training and implementing strategic improvement plans. Finally, you will achieve financial objectives by continually building sales and growing a highly profitable business for the group.

    Requirements

    To qualify, you will have a minimum of 10 years' restaurant management experience, ideally in Japanese cuisine in the Greater China region. You will possess strong leadership and influential skills to train and develop a young and dynamic team. Having strong P&L management experience, budget and decision making skills will be a definite advantage. Proficiency in written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin) is a prerequisite for this role.
