About the Role

The team is seeking a dynamic and strategic General Manager to join its Hong Kong headquarters. This newly created role is pivotal in enhancing client relationships and driving new business development for the group. The incumbent will translate client business needs into actionable business plans and propose value-added supply chain and sourcing services to clients. This global role will work closely with Country Managers across production countries in Asia.

Key Responsibilities

Client Relationship Management:

  • Develop and strengthen relationships with key clients, understanding their business needs and objectives.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and engagement.

Business Development:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the company's client base.
  • Develop and present tailored proposals for supply chain and sourcing services that add value to clients' operations.

Strategic Planning:

  • Translate client business needs into actionable business plans.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure the successful implementation of client projects and initiatives.
  • Direct and manage all clients' sourcing initiatives and activities and

Collaboration and Coordination:

  • Work closely with Country Managers across production countries in Asia to ensure alignment and coordination of efforts.
  • Foster a collaborative environment to share insights, strategies, and best practices across regions.

Market Analysis:

  • Conduct market research and analysis to stay informed about industry trends and competitor activities.
  • Provide strategic insights to the Group Managing Director to inform business decisions.


  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 12 years of experience in client management, business development, or a related role within the supply chain or sourcing industry.
  • Proven track record of building and maintaining strong client relationships and driving business growth.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams in a global environment.
  • Deep understanding of client needs and a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
  • Ability to develop and execute long-term strategies
