Our client is a well-established MNC conglomerate, currently hiring a HRBP Leader to oversee their fast-growing Technology portfolio. Targeting seasoned and agile HRBP calibre with prior regional experience working within tech-savvy businesses to join and make an impact, creating a culture of high performance and sets the business up to win.

About The Role
Reporting into the HR Director, you will act as a strategic business partner to internal customers and their respective leadership teams in developing and implementing programmes and initiatives that support and enable the organisation's short- and long-term goals and objectives. You will deliver a consistent approach and process to implement HR programmes and practices across the business and supporting the region:

  • Provide leadership and direction through partnership with client groups to establish relevant functional goals and objectives; recruit, train, coach, and mentor employees; support consistent adoption and adherence of programs, policies, and procedures across partnership areas; identify and define employee engagement opportunities; and provide input into departmental structure and design.
  • Act as the horizontal process owner to develop, implement and administer HR programs, policies, procedures, and practices consistently across client groups in support of company philosophy and core values (for example High Performance, Workforce Planning, Performance Management, Engagement, Goal setting, Talent Management, Development Planning, Compensation programs, and others). This also includes ensuring consistent adoption and adherence of programs, policies, and procedures across partnership areas.
  • Drive HR process improvements, special projects, and effective change management programs and initiatives from idea through implementation. This requires applying sound judgment, and considering global impact, when developing solutions.
  • Work closely with HR expert functions (Compensation & Benefits, Talent & Learning, Talent Acquisition, and Internal Communications) to ensure appropriate deployment of HR processes (Talent review, Employee Engagement Survey, Annual Salary review, learning activities).
  • Participate in Regional HR Projects which support Operational Excellence Programs.

Responsibilities

  • BSc in Business, Human Resources, Psychology, or related field.
  • 15-20+ years of professional experience in HR Business Partnering or closely related field.
  • Ability to convey credibility to influence and appropriately challenge business decisions, escalating concerns as necessary.
  • Strong knowledge of current employment legislation and keeps abreast of Human Resources legislative requirements by participating in professional industry organisations.
  • Ability to present complex information and represent HR function in a variety of meetings, both internally and externally.
  • Ability to maintain very high level of interaction across all functions and employees within business.
  • Experience operationalising strategy and partnering on projects with strong change management experience.
  • Experience with diverse client groups and agility to work with matrixed functional areas and stakeholders.
  • Experience of coaching leaders to deliver effective people solutions.
  • Ability to influence without formal authority at all levels of the organisation and build strong relationships at all levels of the organisation.
  • Proven experience in delivery and execution of effective talent development strategies.
  • Ability to work with a good balance of autonomy with strong verbal, written, analytical and interpersonal skill as well as strong personal and team leadership and business sense. Excellent customer focus, ethical behaviour, and professional maturity.
  • Good knowledge of Excel, Word, Power Point.
  • Proficiency in English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin).
  • Immediate available or short notice highly regarded.
