About Our Client

Our client is a leading industry organization with mass population in Hong Kong, they are now seeking for a Senior or HR Officer to join their Compensation and Benefits team focus on payroll execution.



About The Role:

  • Process end-to-end monthly payroll calculations for a large employee population, ensuring accuracy and adherence to relevant policies, procedures, and legal requirements.
  • Verify and update employee records, including salary changes, new hires, terminations, and other related changes in the HRIS/payroll system.
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders, such as HR, Finance, and external vendors, to ensure smooth payroll operations and resolve payroll-related issues.
  • Generate payroll reports, payslips, and related documents for distribution to employees.
  • Handle employee inquiries related to payroll, taxation, and benefits, providing accurate and timely responses.
  • Assist in the implementation of payroll-related system enhancements and process improvements to streamline operations.
  • Collaborate with the HR team to support the design and administration of employee compensation and benefits programs.



The Successful Applicant:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
  • 1 year or above experience in payroll processing and administration, preferably in a large organization with a significant employee population.
  • Strong knowledge of Hong Kong payroll regulations, taxation, and labor laws.
  • Proficiency in using payroll software and HRIS systems.
  • Excellent numerical and analytical skills, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Problem-solving mindset and ability to resolve payroll-related issues efficiently.
  • Fluency in English and Chinese (Cantonese and/or Mandarin) is required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
