A renowned global listed company is going through an aggressive transformation phase hence they are now currently looking for an IT Director to cope with their business expansion.

About the role

Reporting to the CTO and managing a sizeable team, you will provide enterprise direction for the group IT application, infrastructure and transformation strategies while working with key stakeholders to establish appropriate vision to uplift their business and digital platform. As a team lead, you will drive partners' engagements leading to new innovation and showcase references of how these new technologies, analytics and e-platforms can enhance customer experience through digital transformation. Your work involves leading the planning and implementation of ERP (enterprise information systems) and cloud strategies to support a centralized operation; achieving more cost-effective and cost-beneficial enterprise-wide information technology operations; providing effective strategic and tactical planning, development, evaluation, and high-level coordination of the information and technology systems. The director is expected to provide overall direction and leadership for the development, implementation, automation, integration and drive robotics process automation working with global teams. Lastly, facilitate technology-visioning between executive leadership staff, management, vendors, and other resources internal and external to the organization.

Requirements:

  • Degree holder in Information System, Computer Science or related discipline
  • Minimum of 11 years of experience working in sizeable organization and in retail or FMCG industry
  • A proven track record in delivering enterprise-wide technology change and transformation.
  • Strong knowledge and experience in Agile delivering and transformation
  • In-depth experience in devising, costing and delivering solutions that meet internal business and customer needs
  • Ability to interact with external vendors and key strategic outsourcing partners
  • Ability to conceptualize technology vision, enabling innovation and understanding new digital trends that can create business value and online traffic
  • Ability to perform market analysis and competitive analysis and define product requirements, product release plans, and technical demos
  • Deep knowledge and extensive track record in leading teams in the development of enterprise solutions, with a deep understanding of how to get consumer-centric solutions to market with a high degree of success
  • Deep knowledge of digital technologies, with an eye toward the continual change in consumer technology
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification will be a major plus
  • Good command in Chinese and English
