About the Client

Our client is a renowned organization that has a strong domain in the financial services domain. To strengthen their team capability, they are now seeking for a IT Lead Engineer focusing on derivatives platform.

About the role

Reporting to the department head, you will lead a team of software engineers in an agile squad to design and build technology solutions on derivatives product. You will partner with key business and tech stakeholders to identify and deliver data and analytic automated solutions that meet business needs and align with technology guardrails & strategy. Act as hands-on advisor and technical lead and collaborate with scrum masters, product owners, and engineering team to iteratively create technical solutions that meet business and technical requirements. In addition, you will research recommend, design, and develop systems and application architecture with a specific focus on software quality, security, and compliance. Lastly, you will deliver technical alternatives and architectural designs that meet business requirements

The successful applicants

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, or a related field
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in developing software solutions for the financial industry
  • Expertise in developing software for the derivatives systems on Linux platform will be a major plus
  • Exceptional coding skills in modern programming languages such as Java, Perl, Python, SQL, CSS 3, Javascript, Shell Scripting & HTML5
  • Experience with real-time data processing systems
  • Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Good command in Chinese and English
