Job Description
Job duties
- Oversee the operations of the raw material production mill, ensuring smooth functioning, adherence to safety regulations, and optimal utilization of resources
- Develop and implement production plans and schedules to meet the organization's raw material requirements, considering factors such as demand forecasts, capacity constraints, and lead times
- Collaborate closely with suppliers to procure the necessary raw materials in accordance with production schedules, quality standards, and cost objectives
- Implement and maintain robust quality control processes for raw material production, including regular inspections, testing, and adherence to quality standards and specifications
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, ensuring open lines of communication, resolving any production-related issues, and fostering collaboration to meet production targets
- Prepare regular reports on production performance, inventory levels, and key metrics. Conduct data analysis to identify trends, highlight areas for improvement, and support decision-making
Requirements
- Diploma or Higher Diploma in textile/clothing or related discipline
- 3+ years working experience in garment/textile industry
- Good technical knowledge on textiles & constructions
- In depth understanding on fabric production processes, dyestuffs, finishing, & fabric performance & testing etc
- Good command of both verbal and written English and Mandarin
- Proficient knowledge in MS Office application
