About our client

Our client is one of the major conglomerates in Hong Kong, and they are now looking for a Senior IT Officer to support their office IT operation and backend infrastructure.

About the role

  • Responsible for supporting, operation and management the overall backend infrastructure, including system, network, end-users technologies, of the company
  • Working closely with internal IT team and external vendor to deliver IT infrastructure projects and initiatives.
  • Evaluate and offer recommendations on IT hardware, software, and services.
  • Foster positive relationships with IT vendors and manage procurement activities.
  • Develop IT policies and standard operating procedures.
  • Occasional on business travel for project

Requirements

  • Diploma or above holder in Computer Science, Information Technology or related discipline
  • Minimum 5 years of working experience in infrastructure operations and project management
  • Proficiency in the overall infrastructure administration, including VMware, AD/O365, Windows/Linux OS, etc.
  • Familiar with conference solutions, office setup, IP phone system, cabling, firewall, cybersecurity solutinos,
  • With strong stakeholder/vendor management skills
  • Willingness on business travelling
  • Good command of English and Chinese(Cantonese & Mandarin)
