About our client

Our client is a e-platform business with strong local market sharing. Due to their digital transformation, they are looking for a System Engineer who has good experience in system infrastructure operations and projects.

About the role

  • Performing daily technical support and management on on-prem/cloud servers
  • Maintaining and managing IT infrastructure on servers, systems and network issues with other team members
  • Perform system infrastructure operation tasks such as health checking, capacity monitoring, problem-solving and escalation according to internal procedure
  • Work with external/internal parties on projects, including system upgrade/migration/
  • Develop scripts to perform automation and housekeeping
  • Handle support tickets from the helpdesk team

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree holder in Computer Science, Information Technology or related disciplines
  • Minimum 3 years of working experience in system administration/engineering
  • Experience in Windows & Linux server and system environments and relevant technologies, such as VMware, vCenter, SAN storage, Backup/DR solutions, SQL server
  • Knowledge of troubleshooting networking issues
  • Familiar with AWS would be an advantage
  • Good command of Chinese and English
