About The Client

Our clients are well-known financial service company in the Hong Kong and they are looking for Senior Software Engineer/Lead to join their IT team.


Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of 3, lead the backend system development and implementation, and provide technical guidance to the team
  • Architect and implement scalable and reliable backend solutions
  • Responsible for requirement analysis and alignment, prepare both technical and data specifications
  • Perform software development task of designing, coding, testing and deploying application programs in full SDLC
  • Work closely with project team and external clients to ensure a smooth backend system operation
  • Troubleshoot and debug issue to improve system stability
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies and best practices in backend development



Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree holder in Information Technology, Computer Science or other related disciplines
  • 5-8 year of experience in application design and development
  • In-depth experience in Java, Spring boot/Spring MVC programming
  • Familiar with RESTful API and/or Micro-services is an absolute advantage
  • Good to have DevOps experience using Jenkin, GIT, Ansible and Azure
  • Strong leadership skill with the ability to mentor and guide juniors
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese
