About our client

Our client is a well-established financial company with a regional presence, especially in Hong Kong and they are now looking for a System Engineer to join their IT infrastructure team.

About the role

  • Responsible for day-to-day L2 system management and administration in the on-premise system and cloud environment, including configuring, deployment, troubleshooting, documentation, backup, DR planning, etc.
  • Planning, executing and implementing new infrastructure solutions/production chances
  • Handling requests from L1 helpdesk teams and network teams to perform troubleshooting, health checking and security operation tasks
  • Coordinating with teammates in the infrastructure team for infrastructure projects
  • Performing documentation, policy drafting and solution proposal for the company
  • Providing after-office-hour support for critical system issues

Requirements

  • Diploma or above holder in Computer Science, Information Technology or related discipline
  • Minimum 5 years of working experience in the IT infrastructure sector
  • Proficiency in the on-premise/cloud environment and technologies, such as Windows servers, O365, SAN Storage, Email/Exchange servers, VMware
  • Familiar with networking technologies and knowledge
  • With experience in Azure environment will be a plus
  • With experienced in working financial sector is a plus
  • Good command of English and Chinese(Cantonese & Mandarin)
