About the Client
Our client is a conglomerate in Hong Kong with diversified businesses. To cope with their business plan, they are looking for an Application Lead to join their Security team in the Hong Kong office.
About the Role
Reporting to Application Manager, you will need to deliver the software quality and security standards. You will need to observe, understand, report, discuss and resolve the challenges and difficulties throughout the development life cycle. You will need to provide regular and effective progress updates to and work closely with Application Manager and Project Manager to ensure the quality of the deliverables as expected. You will need to participate to effective and trusted relationships within the application team. You will need to work closely with Business Analysts to ensure the understanding on business requirements and work closely with Quality Assurance team to deliver bug-free applications. You will need to work closely with Business Analysts to ensure the understanding on business.
The Successful Applicant
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or IT related discipline
- Minimum of 7 years' experience in IT application delivery role preferably in Finance or Insurance industry, less experience will be considered as Application Specialist
- Solid experience in the following technologies - C#, ASP.NET, MVC, MS SQL, ORACLE DB, PLSQL, Azure Cloud, API Management, Angular, Crystal report
- Experience in system revamp projects especially technology upgrade or solution re-engineering is a plus
- Experience in developing and supporting insurance administration applications is an advantage
- Experience in managing delivery resources, onshore and offshore, in-house and vendor is preferred
- Fluent in English and Cantonese communication
