Assistant Advocacy Manager, Public Education (NGO, contract)
- Exp in NGO, advocacy programmes
- Public education & youth sports development
- 3-year contract, up to $40k
- 5-day work, Location: Quarry Bay
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop advocacy programmes to promote the organization's vision and drive sustainable change in youth sports development
- Lead a programme officer to plan, execute and evaluate public education programmes funded by various sponsors
- Lead an advocacy executive to manage relationships with advocacy donation partner and execute a research partnership
- Coordinate communications and maintain relationships with government, funding partners, schools, community stakeholders, etc.
- Collaborate with senior management and marketing team to oversee service portfolio, progress and external communication
- Prepare high-quality programme reports and establish/maintain key partnerships
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in social science, public policy or related field, with at least 6-8 years' experience in NGO, social or community services
- Fluent written and spoken English and Cantonese skills, proficiency in Excel
- Proactive, creative, good presentation and public speaking skills
- Strong teamwork and multitasking abilities, organized and detail-oriented
- Solid leadership experience in managing a team
- Knowledge and passion for youth work, sports development, and NGO/charitable sector preferred
- Candidates with less experience will be considered as Senior Officer
- Immediate availability is preferred
