About the Role
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
- Ensure compliance with accounting principles, standards, and regulatory requirements
- Oversee the consolidation process for multiple entities within the organization
- Perform intercompany eliminations and adjustments to ensure accurate consolidated financial statements
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to provide insights and recommendations based on financial analysis
The Successful Applicant
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. CPA certification is preferred
- Proven experience in financial reporting and consolidation, preferably in the retail industry
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with stakeholders
- Experience with accounting systems and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
