About the Client
Our client is a well-developed and sizable corporation within conglomerate industry. They are now seeking for a high calibre professional to join them as Assistant Payroll Manager.
About the role
- Perform end to end payroll processing for Hong Kong regular payroll and new hire payroll
- Handle all necessary employee pension schemes in the area of tax reporting and employer contributions (this includes MPF& ORSO schemes)
- Manage a team of payroll specialists and provide guidance and support as needed
- Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to ensure proper processing of employee benefits and deductions
- Answer employee enquiries and follow up on the issues raised by staff from time to time
- Prepare and distribute payroll reports and analyses to management
- Identify and implement process improvements to streamline payroll operations
The Successful Applicant
- Degree holder in any discipline, preferably in Human Resources Management, Business Administration or equivalent
- Minimum 6 years of experience with payroll service providers or experience in multinational / sizable companies in managing payroll for 1000+ employees with high volume of transactions in fast paced environment
- High proficiency in spoken and written English and Chinese
- Solid knowledge Hong Kong employment laws and industrial relations
- Proficient in both written and spoken English and Chinese
