Our clients are well-established and historical education group and they are looking for Associate IT Director to join in the team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in leadership, strategic planning, project management and a deep understanding of how technology can support and enhance overall business development.
Job Descriptions
- Assist IT Director, develop and implement strategic IT plans that align with overall business objectives of the group
- Lead and manage a team of IT professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment
- Oversee the execution of IT projects, monitor and manage IT budget, ensuring resources are allocated effectively and in line with organizational priorities
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to identify and prioritize technology needs, and develop strategies to address them effectively
- Evaluate existing IT systems and infrastructure to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary upgrades or enhancements.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with external vendors and technology partners, ensuring effective delivery of IT services and support
- Provide guidance and support to end-users, resolving technical issues and ensuring smooth operation of IT systems
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices, and recommend innovative solutions to enhance operational efficiency and educational outcomes
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related disciplines
- Minimum 2 years of experience in leading an IT team with more than 10 professionals
- Minimum 15 years of experience of relevant experience, preferably working at retail, FMCG, or education sectors
- Proficiency in managing D365 ERP systems, CRM and POS integration
- Familiar with Microsoft 365 migration, Azure, Data Warehousing, and cyber-security
- Good business sense and capable to guide the team for achieving project objectives successfully
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make informed decisions and drive continuous improvement
- Strong communication skills in both verbal and written English and Chinese (both Cantonese and Mandarin)
