Job Description
This position is to be engaged in the Maison's strategic Chinese digital projects globally. Digital includes mainly data and AI projects. It requires deep understanding of the innovative and digital landscape and trends of Asia today, especially the new retail, WeChat ecosystem, new technologies, and being able to transform the knowledge into the business application. Skillful project management and interpersonal communication will be a must to succeed the job. This position is to work in a tech start-up environment within a big company, the culture fit, and tech acumen will be key.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Key responsibility 1 - Data & AI projects management
- Led the management of multiple global tech projects, coordinating cross-functionally with technical and business teams
- Developed data-driven strategies and solutions for senior leadership based on in-depth analysis
- Implemented and managed strategic digital initiatives, both online and offline
- Ensured high-quality, timely project delivery through effective cross-functional coordination
- Oversaw project rollouts across different markets, leveraging internal and external resources
- Tracked and analyzed project performance, providing valuable insights for continuous improvement
- Demonstrated deep understanding of digital trends and applied it to drive business impact.
Key responsibility 2 - Omni-channel client experience exploration
- Fully understand the client needs of an ultimate and seamless experience in the luxury world in Asia and detect the opportunities to enhance the offers of the Maison.
- Work with retail, e-commerce, client service, IT and digital teams to develop and deploy the action plan according to Maison's omni-channel strategy of seamless and consistent client experience throughout all touch points.
Key responsibility 3 - Digital trends monitoring, Innovation & Technical Research
- Established an innovation program to explore emerging technologies and their business applications
- Built a global network of partners, including experts, corporates and leading academic institutions, to support research and innovation
- Participated in industry events to scout cutting-edge technologies and share insights
- Closely followed digital and industrial innovation trends, proposing new tools and services to the team
- Organized technical training and built relationships with digital pioneers to explore high-tech partnerships
QUALIFICATIONS
Education Qualifications:
- Master degree or higher, preferably in a Computer science or business-related field
Experience:
- Experience in e-commerce, technology project management, or strategy role is preferred.
- Proven track record of managing complex, global projects in a luxury or retail environment
- Experience working in projects around: digital / CRM / Data / Omni-channel related domains.
- Expertise in data science, AI, and emerging technologies with the ability to translate technical capabilities into business value
- Strong cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management skills
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities, especially when engaging C-suite executives
- Fluency in English required, additional language skills preferred, such as French, German, Spanish etc.
Technical Requirements:
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Programs, especially on Excel & PowerPoint.
- Skills in data science languages is a plus (Python, M, etc..)
- Experience in using e-com/digital tools and reporting tools is a plus (Google analytics, Salesforce, PowerBI, SAP, etc..)
- PMP certification is a plus
