Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the company's commodity business, ensuring all regulated activities are legal and compliant, and establish, review, and update management systems, internal controls, and workflow processes to meet the latest regulatory requirements of the Securities and Futures Commission (SFC).
- Lead the department to achieve the company's strategic goals and performance targets set by the management.
- Oversee and manage the daily operations of the department, ensuring all trading activities comply with the laws and regulations of various jurisdictions.
- Build and maintain strong cooperative relationships with various departments within the company and external groups.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or above in Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- Over 12 years of experience in finance, sales, and management, with a preference for those with experience in commodity trading and management.
- Possess keen insights into global commodity business and a rich network of industry resources, capable of adjusting business strategies in response to different market conditions and leading the department to achieve performance targets.
- Familiar with the regulatory and compliance requirements for global commodities in Hong Kong, Mainland China, Singapore, and the UK.
- Proficient in English and Mandarin.
