Our client is a fast growing fintech company with an expanding portfolios of technology solutions business. As part of the company's aggressive expansion plan in the fast growing internet industry, a need has arisen to recruit a Director of IT Governance and Compliance
About the Role
Reporting to the CTO, you will need to define and execute risk management strategies with a predominant focus on technology related risks and emerging technologies. Undertake maturity assessments of technology risk management and control environments as well as good knowledge and interest in emerging technology and how technology environments are potentially impacted by emerging risks & regulatory change. Providing strategic guidance and oversight, you will ensure the security, reliability, and resilience of the company's technology systems while fostering a culture of risk awareness and compliance. Manage and act as the key liaison for all Internal and External IT and IS audit and risk assessment engagements across the Group. Lastly, you will create governance frameworks & implementing process improvements to technology risk functions and defining roadmaps to implementing and maintaining hands-on solutions by conducting cyber maturity reviews, creating operating models, designing infrastructure, etc.
The Successful Applicant
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related discipline
- Excellent leadership and influencing skills, including the ability to drive change in the way the company manages Technology Risk compliance and control activities
- Minimum 8 years of relevant work experience and proven track record in tech risk environment within professional services or an in-house information security function, preferably in Financial or Banking Services
- Recognised cyber security qualifications e.g. CISM, CISA, CAMS, AAMLP etc. will be a major plus
- Track record within the financial services or Fintech company showing understanding of the business, threat and regulatory issues faced by each department will be preferred
- Experience of delivering one or more of the following areas: strategy, transformation, governance, cyber resilience, identity and access management
- Significant knowledge and experience of best practice regarding technology tisk and quality and risk management and associated governance frameworks, methodologies, and emerging best practice
- Good command in Chinese
