Job Description
Finance Manager (public, 1-year contract)
- A&F policies & system implementation
- 6+ years of exp in FA, prefer in sizable org
- HKICPA or equivalent qualification
- 1-year contract, up to $45-50k
- Location: Wanchai
Responsibilities
- Assist in managing daily accounting and financial operations.
- Review and formulate operational policies, establish effective procedures, streamline the operation flows and identify areas for continuous improvement in daily operation.
- Maintain and ensure high standards of financial controls and reporting, and compliance of group policies, statutory and regulatory requirements.
- Collate information for sustainability annual report disclosure.
- Prepare financial analysis and projections to support management strategic planning and decision making.
- Manage annual audit process, prepare financial statements, annual report, tax and other filings and submissions in compliance with statutory requirements.
- Plan and re-engineer work procedures to ensure high level of operating performance with value-added services.
- Lead the team in system implementation or enhancement projects.
- Perform any ad hoc duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline.
- Qualified Accountant of HKICPA or other recognized professional accounting bodies
- Minimum 6-8 years of post-qualification experience in financial accounting, of which 2 years in management level with sizable organization/ listed company, prior audit experience gained from top-tier CPA firm is an advantage.
- Knowledge on sustainability reporting and standards will be an advantage.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office - Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
- Strong communication with fluent written and spoken English and Chinese.
- Immediate availability is preferred.
