About the Role
- Manage the full set of accounts, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger
- Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations
- Perform month-end and year-end closing activities, including accruals, prepayments, and adjustments
- Monitor cash flow, budgeting, and forecasting activities to ensure financial stability and efficiency
- Collaborate with internal teams to streamline financial processes and improve overall financial performance
- Stay updated with changes in accounting regulations and ensure compliance with relevant laws and standards
- Maintain accurate and organized financial records, ensuring confidentiality and data integrity
The Successful Applicant
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Proven experience as an Accountant, preferably in the retail/ fmcg industry
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and regulations
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel
- Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
