About the Client
Our client is a Fortune 500 company and one the largest company in its industry with global presence. With a mission to digitize their end to end operation, they are now looking for a Head of IT lead to join their team.
About the role
Reporting to the Managing Director and lead a team, you will be joining at an exciting time as the company is starting to develop their digital solutions from scratch. A key responsibility will be supporting a culture that promotes innovation and continuous improvement, fostering a learning culture and focusing on outcomes on digital transformation. In addition, you and the team will participate in all the digital product roadmap/release activities to ensure that cross digital assets opportunities are identified, planned, and delivered. You will work with the global IT team to evaluate enterprise application model in pursuit of process improvements and growth opportunities to support business growth. Last but not least, you will contribute to and analyze the design of solutions that enhance the availability, reliability, performance, security and agility of technologies.
The Successful Applicant
- Bachelor degree and at least 8+ years of experience with an university degree in Computer Science, Information System, or related field or equivalent experience
- Passionate about the digital transformation of the natural & built asset space
- Ability to interact with external vendors and key strategic outsourcing partners
- Ability to interact internally with key stakeholders across all businesses and functions
- Ability to direct a team and negotiate and influence stakeholders within the team and externally in the broader organization
- Demonstrated ability to adapt to new technologies and learn quickly
- Demonstrated experience coaching, mentoring, and developing technical professionals
- Ability to inspire colleagues, clients and potential partners with new ideas and discipline combined with pragmatism to implement them rapidly
- Proactive, practical, entrepreneurial, open-minded, flexible and creative
- Good command in Chinese and English
