About the Client
Our client is one of the major banks in Hong Kong and due to team expansion recently, they are looking for an IT Manager(System Engineering) with good experience in the banking infrastructure environment to join their team.
About the role
- Working with teammates and managing vendors to perform daily-to-daily tasks to ensure the stability of internal platforms, operation system, storage system, backup systems, etc.
- Conducting capacity management, system monitoring, patch management, performance tuning, etc.
- Hands-on implementation on infrastructure deployment/changes/upgrade projects
- Reviewing, managing and enhancing infrastructure policies, operation procedures,
- Working closely with other parties and being part of planning, designing, and developing systems
- Managing and delivering projects under compliance with good planning of change management, incident management
Requirements
- Bachelor holder in Information Technology or other related disciplines
- 5+ years of relevant working experience in system administration/engineering; With employment experience from the banking/financial sector is highly preferred
- Experience in on-prem system technologies, including AD group policy, Windows/Linux OS, VMware, VDI solutions, backup & DR solutions, SAN storage, BCP planning, etc.
- With experience in middleware technologies, such as ActiveMQ, Keepalivd, Nginx, is a plus
- With experience in public cloud technologies, such as Docker, Kubernetes(K8S) and Microservices, is a huge plus
- With good knowledge of banking compliance and procedure
- Holder of CCNA/CCNP/MCSE/CISSP is a plus
- Good command of written and spoken English & Chinese(Mandarin or Cantonese)
