Job Description
The role is reporting to IT Director to support the Group's IT infrastructure management and system application and oversee day-to-day IT operations. The role will be involved into global and local IT project to improve and achievement of business goals. The role will be involved to support remote office such as Korea, Shanghai and deal with outsourcing vendor and supplier.
Job Responsibilities
- Assist Head of Information Technology of Asia to develop, implement and enforce IT service standard, procedures and policies
- Responsible to provide IT service supports and technical guidance to users to ensure a smooth and efficiency operation for
- Perform quality checks and verification of day-to-day batch or routine systems activities and operation
- Ensuring proper documentation, notification, escalation, tracking, and follow up of all incidents/ service request
- System application administration support
- Leading project initiatives, identifying, analyzing requirement and work with consultant to complete the project
- Provide production system support and arrange maintenance or upgrade of application systems
- Work closely with Global IT team, China IT Team and IT vendors for ad-hoc projects / issues
- IT Inventory tracking including hardware, software, license
- Review existing or create new SOPs that will improve the overall operation of the IT services
- Provide IT training and skill transfer to office user
- Provide IT support to branch office
Requirements
- Degree holder in Computer Science or Information Technology or equivalent qualification
- At least 3-5 years working experience of desktop, notebook, server , network, storage, network security and infrastructure supports experience
- Hands-on experience in VM environments using VMware and SAN storage
- ERP experience preferred e.g. Oracle Enterprise One.
- Experience in IT project management
- Cloud computing experience preferred
IT Technical Service and Support
- Use of Service Desk management software
- Knowledgebase management
- Mobile administration and support
- Cisco Networking-Switch, Router, WIFI Controller
- Understanding of LAN/WANs and TCP/IP protocols
- Providing support for LAN based workstations, printers, and other hardware
- Remote trouble shooting programs and procedures
- Technical writing experience
