About our client
Our client is a logistics service provider with a strong foundation in Hong Kong. Currently, they are looking for an IT Support Engineer to join their team.
About the role
- Handle users' tickets and provide L1/L2 technical support on the company application/system/server/network in a timely manner
- Perform administration, patching, troubleshooting, deployment and health checking on hardware/on-perm system on a regular basis
- Monitor, manage and troubleshoot applications and systems to ensure a smooth business operation under a team-base
- Escalate technical issues to relevant parties, such as internal developers, vendors and network team
- Provide inventory management, documentation, and training to users
Requirements
- Diploma or above in Computer Science, Information Technology or related discipline
- Minimum 1 year of working experience in providing L1/L2 system support
- Knowledge of system operation and support, such as Linux OS, VMware, SQL server, and Backup solutions, is a plus
- Familiar with networking technologies, such as firewalls, Router, LAN/WAN, is a plus
- With programming knowledge for troubleshooting is a plus
- Good communication skills and team-working spirit
- Good command of English and Chinese(Cantonese & Mandarin)
- On-job training would be provided
