Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Support the marketing and communications team to develop and promote the campaigns, activities and event to meet organizational goals
  • Manage organisation's website and social media platforms constantly
  • Manage the logistics of the key events. Owns timeline management, budget, execution and evaluation analysis
  • Maintain copy-writing and translation of marketing communications materials such as annual reports, brochures, eDMs, e-newsletters, presentations, social media posts and other corporate communication materials etc.
  • Reach out to media agencies and encourage the reporting of events and stories
  • Assist in academic research, public education campaigns which includes events / webinars, maintain or establish relationship with schools or partners
  • Visit IHKSports classes regularly to understand the organisation work at the front-line

Job Requirements:

  • A Degree holder in any discipline with at least 2 years' experience in marketing, communication & journalism, NGO marketing might be considered for the Officer role. Candidates with less experience/fresh graduates would be considered for the Executive role;
  • Good command of Adobe Photoshop or Adobe Illustrator. Minimal understanding of any video editing software preferred;
  • Good command of written and spoken English and Cantonese;
  • Demonstrate a strong passion in youth work/sports/volunteering/partnership management;
  • A strong team player capable of working with different personalities from different functional backgrounds;
  • Strong ability to complete multiple assignments concurrently whilst balancing competing priorities and meeting deadlines;
  • Organised and detail-oriented with high integrity;
  • Willing to occasionally travel to various districts in Hong Kong in weekday evenings and weekends, with transport subsidy and compensation leave;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft office
  • Knowledge of and passion for the charitable sector preferred
