NOC Engineer

Position:
The NOC Engineer is tasked with promptly identifying and resolving system/network faults and outages, while supporting the overarching objectives of the Global Network Operations Center. This role is opening to Fresh Graduates!
Responsibilities:
- Perform 7x24 frontline duties, monitoring and maintaining the system/network, addressing customer issues, and conducting fault diagnosis and resolution in a timely manner.
- Monitor network performance, conducting tests to ensure the stability and efficiency of the network.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure the smooth operation of various network functions.
- Identify and address network faults, coordinating with engineering teams for timely replacement of faulty equipment.
- Document all fault management actions, progress timelines, and outage reasons in the ticketing system.
- Maintain fluency in English and Cantonese, enabling effective communication with customers and internal stakeholders.
Requirements:
- High Diploma/ Degree holder or above in Electronics, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience in network operations, maintenance, and fault diagnosis.
- Knowledge of various network protocols and technologies, with a focus on one or more of the following areas: IP, Transmission, Voice, Satellite, Data-center, and Planned Events.
- Solid understanding of network equipment and telecommunications services.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to work under pressure and handle emergency situations.
- Strong communication skills, with proficiency in both English, Cantonese and Chinese.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with network monitoring tools and platforms.
- Experience in performing network performance testing and analysis.
- Certification in networking or related fields is a plus.
Work Schedule:
- Full-time position, requiring 7x24 availability for on-call support and fault response.
