About Our Client:
This leading company is now looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer under their IT team and work on web and mobile applications test.
Responsibilities:
- Design and execute manual and automated testing plans for web/mobile applications, including functional, usability, compatibility, and security testing.
- Identify and report issues and bugs in web/mobile applications, tracking them until resolution.
- Work with various cross-functional teams, including leads, system analysts, and business analysts, to fully understand project requirements and design comprehensive testing strategies.
- Work with development teams to provide feedback and suggestions for improvement, ensuring a high standard of quality is met.
- Participate in the deployment, configuration, and upgrading of web/mobile applications, ensuring stability and reliability in various environments.
- Maintain testing documentation, track issues using appropriate tracking tools, and contribute to regular status updates and reports.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 1-4+ years of expertise in Quality Assurance, strong focus on manual and automated testing of web and mobile applications.
- Good communication at English, Cantonese and Chinese.
- Familiar with programming skills in Python and/or Java, test skills in Cucumber, BDD, Selenium/Appium, database skills in MSSQL and/or MariaD.
- Problem-solving abilities, logical, analytical, and detail-oriented detail.
- Communication and collaboration skills for effective teamwork across diverse teams.
