As the Raw Material Production Officer, you will play a crucial role in Hong Kong Sourcing Office, working closely with a team of highly qualified sourcing, quality, and raw materials professionals.
Key Responsibilities
- Vendor Management: Maintain and develop strong, long-term relationships with vendor partners to ensure high-quality raw material production.
- Sourcing and Procurement: Work with the sourcing team to identify and procure the best functional fabric materials that meet quality standards and business needs.
- Production Oversight: Oversee the production process of raw materials to ensure timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
- Cost Optimization: Identify opportunities to optimize costs without compromising quality or speed, supporting overall margin objectives.
- Process Improvement: Continuously seek out and implement creative solutions and process improvements that enhance supply chain efficiencies.
- Collaboration: Partner with Head Office teams and other stakeholders to align on business goals and ensure seamless communication and execution.
- Quality Assurance: Work closely with the quality team to ensure all raw materials meet our stringent quality requirements.
- Reporting: Provide regular updates and reports to the Raw Materials Production Manager on production status, vendor performance, and any issues or opportunities identified.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in raw material production, preferably with a focus on functional fabric materials.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Textiles, Business, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of fabric materials and their applications.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a team and build strong relationships with vendor partners.
- Proficiency in English and Cantonese/Mandarin is preferred.
