My client, an iconic luxury brand, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join team team as a Regional Indirect Procurement Manager APAC. In this strategic role, you will be responsible for managing the procurement activities across the APAC region, focusing on indirect categories such as marketing, IT, facilities, and professional services.
- Develop and implement procurement strategies, policies, and processes for indirect categories in APAC, aligned with the company's objectives and cost-saving initiatives.
- Lead and manage a team of procurement professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and support to ensure efficient and effective procurement operations.
- Identify cost optimization opportunities, negotiate contracts, and establish partnerships with suppliers to achieve optimal pricing, quality, and service levels.
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, including marketing, IT, finance, and operations teams, to understand their requirements and provide procurement expertise and support.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, potential risks, and opportunities, enabling proactive decision-making and strategic sourcing activities.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives, streamline procurement processes, and implement best practices to enhance efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and supplier performance.
- Monitor supplier performance, evaluate contract compliance, and manage supplier relationships to ensure adherence to agreed-upon terms and conditions.
- Stay updated with industry trends, market intelligence, and regulatory changes to mitigate risks and optimize procurement strategies.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in procurement, with a focus on indirect categories.
- Strong knowledge of procurement best practices, market dynamics, and supplier management in the APAC region.
- Proven track record of successfully managing procurement projects, negotiating contracts, and implementing cost-saving initiatives.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a strategic mindset and attention to detail.
