About Our Client
Our client is a leading home product buying office and employs over 70,000 people worldwide. Due to business expansion plan, they are looking for a Senior Merchandiser in Hong Kong office.
Job Duties
- Manage and follow all activities of possible sourcing units and projects in a strategic way to mitigate any cost price increase
- Review the vendor base, source and develop new vendors and products to ensure brief requirements are met
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders on product briefs and initial agendas to ensure project schedules and agendas are always effectively and efficiently communicated
- Coordinate with different functional teams in different countries and suppliers to resolve conflicts among stakeholders
- Support and liaise with internal and external stakeholders on engineering design to ensure the cost saving and production efficiency
- Update and communicate with stakeholders about projects CPAs, potential issues and solutions to ensure all OTIFEF and quality are met
- Maintain up-to-date market trend information and proactively identify product opportunities
- Organize and validate product sample, and manage artwork development with related functional teams
Requirement
- Diploma holder or above in Supply Chain Management or Business Administration or related disciplines
- 8 years of experience in sourcing role
- Experience in kitchen appliance, SDA, or electrical products is preferable
- Fluent communication in English and Chinese
- Proficient in MS Office and related system is preferable
- Candidates with less experience will be considered as Merchandiser
