Senior Tax Manager
About the Client
Our Client is a leading blue-chip company. To cope with their business needs, they are currently recruiting a Senior Tax Manager to join their team.
About the Role
Reporting to the Finance Director, this is a newly created position to support both tax compliance and planning. You will design and implement tax policies and procedures and ensure tax accounting/reporting processes are adhered to. You will review current tax structure and identify any opportunities for efficiency enhancement. You will review transfer pricing documentations and tax returns. You will involve in tax planning and advise on projects such as merger and acquisitions and corporate restructuring. You will respond to tax authorities' enquiries and coordinate for tax/custom audits. You will handle any ad-hoc duties as assigned.
The Successful Applicant
- Degree holder in Accounting, Finance or equivalent
- HKICPA/ACCA or equivalent
- At least 8 years of HK and China corporate tax experience
- Competent with both tax compliance and planning
- Experience in tax due diligence, transfer pricing is an advantage
- Commercial, versatile, independent, and hands-on
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Fluent in Cantonese, English and Mandarin
- Candidates with less experience could be considered as Tax Manager
