About the company

Our client is a well-established banking group with headquartered in Hong Kong, offices in mainland China, London, New York and Singapore, providing full range of investment products in capital markets. With their continuous expansion in business, they are now looking for high caliber to join their Operations team.

About the role

Reporting to the Head of Operations, you will lead a team in managing various investment and collateral operations, including settlement in non-equity OTC derivatives, fixed income, exchange-traded derivatives, FX, Margin and other capital market collaterals. You have to work with product teams to develop overall product plans, managing new product on board, product launch strategy, system testing and related regulatory checking in growing OTC derivatives product business. You are required to establish operation flow framework and monitoring settlement on daily operations, including making variation margin and initial margin calls, record booking and dispute management to ensure the smooth launch of OTC derivatives products. In addition, you need to perform regulatory checking and related credit risk control to achieve business objectives.

The successful applicant

To qualify, the successful individual must possess:

  • University Graduate in Business, Marketing or related disciplines.
  • Minimum 8-10 years of relevant experience in managing non-equity OTC Derivatives, Fixed Income, FX, Margin and Collateral operations in banks or financial firms.
  • Excellent knowledge in non-equity OTC product development, systems enhancement, operation procedures, settlement flow and related regulatory requirements.
  • Strong business sense, strategic mind and good people management.
  • Good analytical and computer skills, such as Microsoft Excel and VBA.
  • Proficient in both written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin).
