About The Client
Our client is a leading insurance firm in Hong Kong. They are now hiring an experienced and commercially astute HR Director to join as part of the leadership team.
About The Role
Reporting into the Business General Manager, this role is the key People lead on all HR-related matters. Acting as a strategic HR business partner, you will lead, develop and deliver the organisation strategy working closely with management team in order to build a high performing, capable and engaged workforce. You will be the change agent to champion organisation transformation in culture, structure, process and people capability etc. to deliver the desired business goals and aspirations, this would include organisation assessment, organisation design and change management. You will also develop and drive employee engagement to ensure business leaders and employees role model business' core values aligned with Company's vision. You will also build and promote HR brand equity as a trusted and strategic business partner to provide leadership and coaching to senior managers on all people matters. You will aslo develop and implement HR initiatives, policies and procedures to build a high performing organisation that are in line with organisational strategy and objectives, also oversee the smooth HR operations e.g. HR systems, employee relations, compliance and regulations etc. to support the company in its transfrmation journey to make business intiiatives successful within the business.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will be an HR leader with strategic experience of leading the people agenda working at or near the Board level in a matrix organisation. With a track record of developing and implementing successful OD and change strategies, as well as delivering high-quality people services, you will bring an ability to build purposeful relationships across the organisation. Leading a team, you must be able to work on strategic and operational priorities conterminously, leveraging previous experience within the insurance sector and/or fast-paced working context.
