Our client is one of the well established tertiary education provider in Hong Kong, providing diploma and above education with multiple campus. With various system development and enhancement projects, they are looking for an experienced candidate with strong application development and team management to join the team.
About the Role
Reporting directly to the Director of Information Technology, the Assistant Director of Information Technology (Information Systems) is responsible for formulating the development of strategies and policies for mission-critical information systems to cope with the vision and missions of the University. You will lead a sizeable team of system developers to develop, maintain and implement information systems, such as Student Information Systems, Finance Information Systems and Human Resources Systems; to support the daily operations of academic and administrative offices/ departments; and to provide various levels of information for the diversified stakeholders of the University community. You should possess not only the expertise in information systems development, but also rich knowledge in server, multi-tiers applications as well as databases.
Job Requirements
To qualify, you should be a degree holder in Information Systems, Computer Engineering or related subjects. You should have a strong academic credentials with substantial years of work experience at a senior level, strong business sense of the operations in the higher education sector would definitely be a competitive advantage. You should possess strong leadership skills with effective communications and interpersonal skills. Substantial project management experience with a proven record of achievement in the field of information systems development is essential. Fluency in Cantonese and English is required.
