Our client is a leading international lifestyle fashion brand with a strong retail presence in Asia. Due to business expansion plan, they are looking for an Assistant Logistics Manager (1 year contract) to manage the local logistics distribution in HK local retail market.
About the Role
Reporting to Senior Logistics Manager, this is a hands-on role. You will be the key member to manage 3PL distribution operations, delivery to stores and direct to consumers as applicable. You will build strong, effective relationships with the 3rd party vendors and imports customs team. You will also establish key metrics to monitor the vendor's performance and assist with processes or training that will increase performance against stated key metrics. In addition, you will maintain a working knowledge of the technology/systems that support the 3rd party vendors, provide properly structured feedback to IT and Systems regarding ongoing issues and needed improvements.
- Degree in Supply Chain / Logistics management with at least 5 years of relevant logistics distribution management experience preferably in retail industry
- Strong problem solving & communication skills
- Strategic, analytical minded
- Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese
