About Our Client
Our client is a leading food manufacturer and operates in more than 50 countries around the world. Due to business expansion plan, they are looking for an Assistant Supply Chain Manager in Hong Kong office.
Job Duties
- Perform demand forecast based on historical figures, promotion plans, and marketing events
- Determine inventory replenishment to ensure steady stock availability and on-time launching of new products
- Review and monitor inventory level and in-transit stock to minimize wastage of stock and saving cost
- Manage and monitor the 3PL operation to meet the performance standard and provide improvement solutions
- Visit 3PL warehouse to ensure the storage environment and product quality are up to requirements
- Source, compare, manage, and instruct 3PL and other ingredient and service suppliers to liaise on all issues and contract renewal
- Handle orderings with 3PL, central kitchen and all service providers to support retails stores and B2B orders
- Maintain inventory accuracy in terms of product details, stock quantity, cost of goods and selling price data
- Construct database of nutrition label under HK regulations and SGS audit requirements
- Coordinate with different functional teams of new system from analysis stage to post go-live of the system, report issues and suggest solutions to the IT support team for debugging and improving system environment
- Liaise with different functional teams and overseas counterpart to provide support based on business needs
Requirement
- Higher Diploma or above in Supply Chain / Logistics or related disciplines
- At least 5 years of experience in supply chain/ logistics in retail/ food industry
- Experience in cold chain delivery is preferred
- Experience in MS Office, ERP system or any supply chain software solutions is preferred
- Fluent communication in English and Chinese
- Candidates with less experience will be considered as Supply Chain Officer
- Immediate available is preferred
