About the Client
Our client is one of the leading FMCG retailers in the local market. Due to recent expansion, they are now seeking a Buyer to join their team for the fresh food category.
About the Role
- Plan and execute product sourcing activities and to ensure quality of products and a healthy stock levels in all point of sales
- Maintain a good relationship with existing suppliers and to explore potential new suppliers
- Analyze market trend and to forecast upcoming product demand and sales volume
- Conduct all round buying cycle including OTB budget setting, formulate assortment and allocation plan, inventory management and price setting
- Collaborate with different internal departments in major promotion events and corporate sales
Requirement
- Associate Degree or above in any disciplines
- Minimum 1-2 years of merchandising experience in the field of fresh food
- Good command of English and Chinese
- Analytical, detail-oriented with strong market sense and awareness
