About our client:
Our client is a leading integrated express logistics service provider providing logistics solutions including warehouse management, express delivery and big data analysis to the market. Due to business expansion plan in the region, the team is looking for a Head of Distribution Operations for Hong Kong market.
About your role:
- Report to General Manager, you are responsible for the End to End Process Management, Ground Service Agents Management (Courier), Warehouse management
- To be responsible for the couriers, warehouse operations in Overseas countries (over 500 Operations staff) including warehouse setup, operations process, onsite management, incentive, KPIs
- To manage the shipment from E commerce platform to Hong Kong market; and the Overseas fulfillment warehouse from US, Korea and Japan to Hong Kong
- To maintain the relationship & external resources in different Subcontractors/ Customs brokers/ Agents the linehaul service (cargo space), customs clearance and last miles delivery of service; To monitor overseas subcontractor performance and drive their quality up to standard
- To support on the End to End process establishment and improvement; New product process and process flow setup for key account
- To be responsible for 5S standard, security standard (CCTVs, Entrance Gateway, vehicles security, driving safety for warehouse & drivers
- To drive the warehouse setup projects by working with the Industrial Engineering department for the layout and process flow setup
- Degree holder in Operations/ Logistics/ Supply Chain or related discipline at least 10 years of managerial and operations experience in high volume distribution environment or managing a logistics & supply chain distribution network
- A strong leader that reinforces the company's mission and vision maintaining the highest standard of integrity at all times
- Proven ability to measure and perform against internal expectations, industry standards, WMS systems, equipment, and safety related programs
- Outstanding analytical and communication skills.
- Track record in designing of distribution facilities and best-in-class operations
- Fluent in English, Mandarin and Cantonese
- Proficient in MS application will be advantageous
