About The Client
Our client is an industry leader within the Education/ Publishing Services sector. They are currently hiring a Head of Human Resources as part of the business management team, to oversee their Hong Kong and China businesses.

About The Role
Reporting into the CEO, you will:

- Collaborate with C-suite/ senior leadership to understand the company goals and strategy relating to staffing, recruiting, and retention
- Plan, lead, develop, coorindate, and implement policies, processes, training, initiatives, and surveys to support with company's compliance and strategic needs
- Oversee the administration of Human Resources programmes including but not limited to compensation & benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; employee dispuptes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development
- Identify staffing and recruitment needs; develop and execute best practices for hiring and talent management
- Conduct research and analysis of organisational trends including review of reports and metrics from HRIS or talent management sytem
- Monitor and ensure organisation's compliance standards, recommend best practices, and review and modify policies and practices
- Maintain knowledge on trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in Human Resources, Talent Management, and employment law; apply this knowledge to communciate changes in policy, practice, and resources to upper management
- Perform other ad hoc projects as required

Requirements
- Degree holder in Human Resources or relevant disciplines, ideally oversease education
- 20+ years of full-fletch Human Resources Management experience gained from sizeable corporates
- Previous experience overseeing Greater China business will be highly regarded
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Chinese
- Tactful stakeholders management skills and ability to handle ambiguity
- Strong supervisory and leadership skills, with ability to prioritise tasks and to delegate when appropriate
- Excelllent organisational skills with high attention to detail
- Exceptional time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
