About our Client
Our client is a Chinese enterprise with strong business presence in multiple sector. They are currently looking for a HR Policy & Governance Manager to join the team.
About the Role
- Conduct regular reviews of existing HR policies and procedures to identify areas for improvement or new policies needed. Update and revise policies as required.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including legal, compliance, and operational departments, to develop and implement new HR policies.
- Serve as the subject matter expert on HR policies, providing guidance and training to managers and employees on policy interpretation and application.
- Monitor changes in employment laws, regulations, and best practices, and update policies accordingly. Ensure the organization maintains compliance.
- Manage the policy review and approval process, working closely with executive leadership to gain buy-in and approval for new or updated policies.
- Develop and deliver training programs to educate employees on HR policies and procedures.
- Audit policy adherence and implementation, identify gaps or issues, and recommend solutions.
- Maintain the central repository of all HR policies, procedures, and related documents.
- Provide policy-related recommendations and insights to support strategic HR and business initiatives.
The Successful Candidate
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- 10+ years of experience in HR policy development and management
- Strong knowledge of employment laws, regulations, and HR best practices
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and training skills
- Ability to think strategically and influence at all levels of the organization
- Proficient in HR information systems and Microsoft Office suite
