About The Client
Our client is an industry leader within the Logistics sector. With its Headquarters in Hong Kong, they are now hiring a Legal Counsel with PQE 5+ to join as part of the Legal & Company Secretary team.
About The Role
Reporting into the General Counsel, you will:
- Review and negotiate a variety of commercial contracts and supplier agreements
- Review and advise on loan documents and/or finance related matters of the business
- Ensure compliance standards are meeting industry standards and requirements
- Formulate internal training on legal-related topics and compliance standards
- Support company secretarial matters of the business as required
- Support General Counsel on ad hoc projects for cross-border investments and developments
- Liaise with external counsels as required
Requirements
- PQE 5+ with solid in-house corporate commercial experience, exposure on company secretarial a plus
- Solid legal knowledge across both Hong Kong and PRC will be an advantage
- Strong stakeholders management skills and maturity navitaging through ambiguous situations
- Proficient drafing skills in both English and Chinese
- Immediate available or short notice will be highly regarded
