About Our Client
Our client is a leading MNC Beauty Solution Manufacturing Company and employed over 5,000 people working worldwide. Due to business expansion plan, they are looking for a Packaging Engineering Manager who would be responsible for the product packing concepts, sustainability improvement, and new product packaging packing idea in their Hong Kong office.
Job Duties
- Design and develop a best product packaging packing solution for semi-product and finished product to ensure the product protection and the requirement are met
- Optimize the packaging shipment space, reduce bulk and wasted packaging materials to achieve cost-effective and sustainable goals
- Explore feasible and ultimate packaging packing concept through understanding the production and filling process
- Recommend packaging packing concept with creating packing specification and technical drawing in 2D/3D
- Explore the hazards and environmental threats faced by the product in delivery and storage processes and perform necessary tests
- Conduct and analysis root cause investigation on quality inquiry, client feedback, and improvement opportunity
- Monitor packaging durability, and avoid product damage
- Liaise with cross functional teams for develop the best solution of product packaging for clients' requirements
- Communicate with packaging material suppliers for sustainable packaging material sourcing
- Contribute to ongoing sustaining project, and new product packing initiatives collaborating with different stakeholders
- Maintain and share up-to-date market and technology information with different functional team to identify business opportunities
Requirement
- Degree holder or above in Supply Chain Management/ Engineering/ Manufacturing or related disciplines
- 5 years of experience in packaging, sustainability improvement
- Knowledge in packaging design & engineering, plastic/metal processing, mechanical assembly manufacturing process is preferable
