About the Client
Our client is a fast growing premium baby-wear brand in Hong Kong. As the team is looking to strengthen the product creation capability in Asia, there is a need of a high calibre Product Development Manager to join its Hong Kong office.
About the Role
Reporting directly to the General Manager, you will be the key individual to liaise with in house designers, buyers and technologists to ensure products are developed in accordance with the requirement and cost targets. You are required to manage the product development process as well as to ensure operational efficiency and cost effectiveness. In addition, you will support the company in the implementation of its marketing campaigns.
Requirements
- Tertiary Education in Fashion, Retail Management, or other related discipline
- At least 8 years solid experience in merchandising, preferably in newborn/ toddler / children-swear
- Energetic, detail oriented, good presentation, interpersonal and communication skills
- Passionate with strong market sense in the fashion area
- Ability to react quickly with a strong sense of urgency
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office software including Excel and PowerPoint
