Job Description
Our client is an international fashion house employee more than 19,000 staffs worldwide with an annul turnover over USD 15 billion. Due to business expansion plan in Asia, the team is looking for a Warehouse Operation Manager to join its Hong Kong office.
About your role:
- Report to Senior Manager, Supply Chain & Warehouse, you will manage an external team of 100 staffs in Hong Kong.
- Act as duo role of regional and local distribution manager, i.e. China, Hong Kong, Macau, Korea, Taiwan, Singapore.
- Being the main contact point of Logistics department and local trade compliance matters for internal and external stakeholders;
- Manage transportation arrangement (i.e. international shipment, local distribution) to comply with internal compliance and security guidelines
- Propose and execute transport arrangement for exceptional request from internal stakeholders, e.g. high value shipment, special sales program etc.
- Monitor import and export processes to ensure compliance with regulatory and legal requirements
- Manage the Logistics arrangement of boutique opening, closing and renovation
- Manage the direct and indirect logistics cost within annual budget;
- Continuously review and implement improvements plan of operation, e.g. LEAN projects, 5S etc
- Regular operational review meeting with internal brands, e.g. retail operation, sales operation etc
- Manage the contracts, performance and relationship of Logistics vendors for transportations and warehouse
Requirement:
- BA degree in Business or equivalent education/experience in warehouse/distribution or related field
- Minimum 5 to 7 years of managerial experience in distribution or related business
- Experience working with a warehouse management system (WMS)
- Outstanding organization skills and attention to detail
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Outstanding leadership abilities and teamwork oriented
- Ability to work in a culturally diverse environment
- Professional, with the ability to communicate promptly with external and internal customers at all levels.
- Very good computer skills, with proficiency to use Microsoft Excel and Word; SAP, Power BI would be a plus
- Fluency in Cantonese and English languages
