About the Client
Our client is a HK listed company with a diversified group of companies which specializes in the retail of luxury watches and fine jewellery. To cope with their business needs, they are inviting a Senior Retail Technology Analyst who will act as the vital communication bridge between users and IT teams by supporting and ensuring the successful completion of analytical, design, building, testing and deployment tasks of our internal system applications to join their IT team in Hong Kong.
About the Role
Reporting to the Project Manager, you will need to translate business requirement into function design and business workflow document. You have to understand the needs, facilitate and balance the requirements amongst different business stakeholders and recommend solutions. You will need to coordinate application development and project life cycle, including requirement gathering, analysis, implementation, deployment, testing, training and review. You will have to preform gap analysis between existing and proposed functionality of business applications. You will have to do vendor management and as the subject matter expert on retail technology for luxury retail, lead integration of new technology trends. Last but not least, as the contact point for level 3 case handling.
The Successful Applicant
- Bachelor degree holder in Computing or related disciplines
- Minimum 5 years relevant experiences in retail industry, preferably in luxury retail
- Experience in retail/ POS solution project is preferred, regional exposure is a plus
- Experience in shared service and SLA is preferred
- Experience in SAP, CRM, clienteling, Digital, Payment and/ or any retail technologies will be an added advantage
- Sounds knowledge in offshore development, database, interfacing, BI reporting
- Strong communication and presentation skills to all levels, able to collaborate with function teams/ units
- Ability to work independently in a time critical environment
- Good command of spoken English and Mandarin is a plus
- Potential candidates with less experience will be considered as Retail Technology Analyst
