About the Client
Our client is a leading international apparel and home products retailer with robust YOY growth globally. To cope with their expansion plan, the team is looking for high calibre candidate with solid experience in sourcing hard home/ soft home products to join as a Sourcing Specialist.
About the Role
- Collaborate with teammates and follow on strategic sourcing plan in sweater category to maximize benefits (quality, delivery and compliance);
- Handle full cycle of the sourcing process, from managing and evaluating existing source to follow up purchase order execution, inspection, packaging and logistics;
- Identify new supplier for strategic purpose, keep track of the market trends and new opportunities through multiple channels;
- Work closely with factories from the product development stage to mass production, and to ensure good product quality.
Requirement
- Bachelor Degree or above;
- With at least 6 years of working experience with a stable track record in trading/buying office;
- Proven experience as specialist in-home product categories;
- With a good sense of the overseas market and good commercial sense;
- Excellent command of written and spoken English, Cantonese, and Mandarin, knowledge in Japanese would be a plus;
- Frequent travel to China suppliers.
